When flexibility becomes a competitive advantage

Gold Drop Sp. z o.o., based in Limanowa, Poland, is one of the country’s leading manufacturers of cosmetics and household cleaning products — with over 30 years of experience serving both domestic and European markets. The company operates under its own brands as well as in a private label model for major retail chains.

As their product range expanded and customer expectations around speed and flexibility grew, a clear challenge emerged: how to produce faster, more flexibly, and at lower cost — without compromising quality.

Traditional production lines, locked into a single packaging format, could no longer keep pace with the demands of a modern cosmetics market. The answer was the Unilogo Robotics Cleanline 50 — a robotic, multi-format flexible filling line and the most advanced system of its kind available on the Polish market. The system handles over 50 different packaging formats, operates to GMP Pharma/Cosmetics Grade standards, and is managed through an advanced PLC control system with a full HMI interface.

The results of the 2025 implementation speak for themselves. Changeover time dropped from several hours to just minutes. Throughput increased, and predictive monitoring eliminated unplanned downtime. Full process automation delivers a level of repeatability simply not achievable manually — with zero production-related quality complaints. Strategically, the impact goes further. Gold Drop can now take on private label contracts for formats that were previously out of operational reach. Flexibility became a direct source of new revenue.

“Investing in the Unilogo Robotics Cleanline 50 is one of the key steps in Gold Drop’s development strategy for the years ahead.

About Gold Drop

Gold Drop Sp. z o.o. is one of the leading Polish manufacturers of cosmetics and household cleaning products, based in Limanowa. With over 30 years of experience, the company has built a strong position in both domestic and European markets, offering high-quality products under its own brands as well as in a private label model for major retail chains. The dynamic growth of the company and increasing market demands in terms of flexibility in production and shorter order lead times led the management board to make a strategic decision to comprehensively modernise the filling and
packaging lines.

CHALLENGE – THE NEED FOR FLEXIBILITY

Traditional production lines, designed for a single packaging format, no longer met the requirements of the modern cosmetics market. Gold Drop needed a solution that would enable rapid adaptation to different product formats and ensure greater operational flexibility. This technology allows us not only to meet today’s market demands — but to stay ahead of them.” — Management Board, Gold Drop Sp. z o.o. It’s a story we know well: a client arrives with a specific operational challenge and leaves with infrastructure built for years of growth. That’s exactly the point.
